Updating a Volume involves changing certain properties of a previously created Volume. On the Greennode AI Platform, you can update two primary Volume attributes:

• Volume Name: Change the name for easier management and identification.
• Volume Size: Increase or decrease the storage capacity of the Volume to match usage requirements.

Steps to Update a Volume

1. Access the Volume Management Interface:

   • Log in to your Greennode AI Platform account.
   • Navigate to the Volume management section.

2. Select the Volume to Update:

   • From the list of created Volumes, choose the one you want to update. Then click on the "update" button, a dialog will be shown to input necessary changes.
     
     

3. Enter New Information:

   • New Volume Name: Enter the desired new name in the corresponding field.
   • New Volume Size: Enter the new size (usually in GB) in the corresponding field. Note: You can only increase the size, not decrease it below the current data size.

4. Confirm Update:

   • Double-check the entered information for accuracy.
   • Click the "Update" button to apply the changes.

5. Verification:

   • After successful updating, you can check the Volume list again to verify the changes.

Important Notes:

• Update Time: The Volume update process may take a short time depending on the Volume size and system load.
• Existing Data: Increasing the Volume size will not affect existing data.
• Permissions: You need to have Volume management permissions to make these changes.
