Step 1: Access the Volume Creation Interface
- Log in: Begin by logging into your Greenode AI platform account.
- Navigate: Once logged in, locate and select the "Storage management". This is typically found in the left side bar. Then click on the "Create a network volume" button to open the creation dialog.
- Volume Name:
- Enter a descriptive and memorable name for your volume.
- Volume names usually consist of letters, numbers, and hyphens.
- Note: Choose a name that is easy to identify and relevant to its purpose.
- Location:
- Select the desired storage location for your volume.
- The location could be a specific region, zone, or country.
- Note: The chosen location may impact latency and cost.
- Size:
- Specify the desired size for your volume (usually in GB).
- Note: The volume size determines the total storage capacity available. Choose a size that aligns with your requirements to avoid wasting resources.
Step 4: Confirm and Create the Volume
- Review: Double-check all entered information for accuracy.
- Click "Create Volume": Once satisfied, click this button to initiate the volume creation process.
- Wait: The creation process may take a few minutes depending on the volume size and configuration.
Step 5: Verify Successful Volume Creation
- Check: Verify that the newly created volume is listed in your volume inventory.
