Team collaboration on GreenNode begins with inviting the right members and assigning appropriate roles. This ensures that each contributor has the necessary permissions to work effectively while maintaining a secure environment.
Creating and Sending Team Invitations
GreenNode allows Admins to invite new members to their team workspace with role-based access control. Each invite includes a designated role that defines the member’s permissions, such as Admin, Dev, Billing, or Basic. To invite a new member:
- Navigate to the Team section in the GreenNode dashboard.
- In the Members section, click Invite New Member.
- Choose the appropriate role based on the person’s responsibilities.
- Copy the invitation link generated in the Pending Invites section.
- Share the link with the intended team member via email, chat, or another secure method.
Note: Invitation links remain valid until they are either accepted or manually revoked. You can monitor and manage all pending invitations directly from the team management interface.
Accepting Team Invitations
If you’ve received an invitation to join a GreenNode team, joining is simple:
- Click the invitation link provided by your team admin or member.
- Review the role assigned to you.
- Click Join Team to accept the invitation.
Once accepted, your account will be added to the team and you’ll gain access to shared resources according to your assigned role. This could include development environments, billing details, or administrative settings—depending on your permissions.
