Manage VPC Network

Manage VPC Network

Create VPC Network

Scenarios

Creating a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) before deploying bare-metal in a cloud environment offers many benefits. VPC helps manage network resources, provides better security, efficient IP address management, easy connectivity and expansion, optimized performance, and flexible integration with other services. This creates a structured, secure, and easy-to-manage system for bare-metal deployments in cloud environments.

Procedure

  1. Access the GreenNode console.
  2. From the Platform menu, Click the Network> VPC menu in that order.
  3. The VPC console is displayed.
  4. When the create VPC screen appears, proceed with the following steps in order.

Step 1: Input VPC name

Enter a name for your VPC. Following the description below the field.
Step 2: Select location

Choose a location for your VPC. The location you choose will determine the cost and load time of your bare metal GPU server.

Step 3: Input CIDR (option)

Enter the CIDR address for your Private IP.

Apply information about the selected IP address segment to convert to CIDR. For example, if you select 10.0.0.0 - 10.255.0.0, the corresponding CIDR could be 10.0.0.0/8 or 10.0.0.0/16 depending on the specific range you want

Edit VPC

  1. Access the GreenNode console.
  2. From the Platform menu, Click the Network> VPC menu in that order.
  3. The VPC console is displayed.
  4. Locate the row that contains the target VOC, click the Action column, and select Edit from the drop-down list.
  5. Enter a new name that meets the requirements, and click Save the change.

Delete VPC

Scenarios

Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) modifications need to be made in a cloud environment when there are requirements such as changing network architecture, expanding to new regions, managing IP addresses, adjusting security and firewall rules, integrating with other services, managing routes and routes, and regulate interoperability between resources. Before making edits, it's important to understand the impact of the change and have a backup and recovery plan.

You need to remove the VPC from Bare-metal before deleting it

Procedure

  1.  Access the GreenNode console.
  2. From the Platform menu, Click the Network> VPC menu in that order.
  3. The VPC console is displayed.
  4. Locate the row that contains the target VPC, click Action column, and select Delete from the drop-down list. To delete multiple VPC, select them and click Delete at the top of the VPC list. In the displayed dialog box, click Yes
